Chicago, IL (October 13, 2020) – Two paramedics were injured following an alleged drunk driving accident in the Chicago area on Friday, October 9.
The site of the crash was reportedly located at the 13100 block of Forrestville Avenue in the Riverdale neighborhood. According to reports from local authorities, a 30-year-old driver crashed into the rear of a parked ambulance at around 9:30 p.m. Two Chicago Fire Department paramedics suffered injuries in the accident and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
Christopher Reynolds of East Chicago, Indian was charged with four misdemeanor counts, including driving under the influence. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. No further information on the crash is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
