Chicago, IL (October 21, 2020) – Two women were killed and a man was injured following a two-vehicle collision in the Logan Square area of Chicago on Monday, October 19.
The deadly crash reportedly occurred at around 10:20 p.m. that evening at the 2600 block of W. Fullerton Avenue. Initial reports revealed that a 55-year-old woman was driving a Toyota sport-utility vehicle when she collided with a Ford Focus. Emergency responders were called to the crash site to render aid to the injured parties.
The woman was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. A passenger in her vehicle, a 71-year-old woman, was transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she was also pronounced dead. The 33-year-old man driving the Ford was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
