Wrong-way crashes aren’t incredibly common, but when they happen, they can result in fatal injuries. On average 355 people are killed each year in wrong-way collisions. Drivers who drive on the wrong side of the road are acting recklessly and putting others in danger.

Head-on crashes are extremely dangerous, accounting for 10 percent of deadly accidents. Fatal crashes often place a financial burden on surviving family members. An Illinois wrongful death lawyer can help families recover lost compensation after an accident.
