Rockford, IL (February 25, 2020) – Four people were injured following a multi-vehicle accident in Rockford, Illinois on Sunday, February 23rd. The collision occurred at the intersection of Alpine Road and Harrison Avenue at around 12:09 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene to provide aid to those injured in the crash.

Three heavily-damaged vehicles were found at the scene. One vehicle had overturned, trapping the driver inside. Four victims in total were hospitalized following the accident.

No further updates have been provided. Local officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
