Deerfield, IL (February 8, 2020) – A hit-and-run accident in suburban Deerfield, Illinois left one person seriously injured on Friday night, February 7th. The accident took place at the corner of Deerfield Road and Beverly Place at around 7:10 p.m. Authorities who responded to the scene found the injured party lying unconscious on the road.

Initial reports revealed that the victim was struck by a westbound vehicle on Deerfield Road. The victim was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois. Their current condition isn’t known at this time.

Local authorities are conducting an investigation into the crash. More information will be released as it continues.
