Illinois Semi-Truck Accidents

Being involved in a crash with a large semi-truck is serious. Occupants of passenger vehicles are at a significant disadvantage. Each year, an estimated 5,000 passenger-vehicle occupants are killed in crashes involving semi-trucks each year.

98 percent of semi-truck fatalities involve those outside the truck. The resulting injuries are often life-threatening, resulting in serious damages. In some cases, injured victims can recover lost compensation with the help of a qualified Illinois trucking injury lawyer.
