Pedestrian Accidents in Illinois

When a car hits a pedestrian, the pedestrian will nearly always suffer more severe injuries than those inside the vehicle. Each year, nearly 70,000 people are injured across the country in pedestrian accidents. There were 3,130 pedestrian crashes reported in Illinois in 2009.

The resulting injuries are often life-threatening. Victims often have to deal with long-lasting damages associated with the crash. Injured parties should consult with a qualified Illinois pedestrian injury lawyer to seek legal compensation.
