Zion, IL - UPDATE: Victim Identified In Hit-&-Run Crash On Elisha Ave

Zion, IL (December 10, 2019) - The identity of a victim injured in a hit-and-run collision in Zion, Illinois has been released by local authorities. The crash took place at the 2200 block of Elisha Avenue on Saturday, December 7th. The injured victim has been identified as Nancy Ezell, 63, of Zion.

Authorities were notified of the crash at around 9:45 a.m. Ezell was hit and dragged by a gray four-door sedan, with a partial license plate number of AEZ. Authorities claim that a black male and a white female were having sex in the vehicle. The driver reversed as Ezell approached, hitting her with the car.

Ezell was transported by helicopter to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois. Local authorities are conducting an investigation into the accident.

Our thoughts are with Nancy Ezell and her family at this time. We hope for a full recovery.

Hit-&-Run Crashes in Illinois

Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for PFMstock6-80.jpgNearly 11 percent of all reported collisions in the United States involve hit-and-runs. These collisions are particularly frustrating, especially if the driver is able to flee the scene without a trace. Injured parties often feel overwhelmed when they suffer from serious injuries.

Committing a hit-and-run is a crime. Hit-and-run fatalities have been on the rise, with more than 2,000 people being killed by drivers fleeing the scene of a crash in 2016. A qualified Illinois hit-and-run attorney can help you pursue all possible avenues for compensation.

At Kent M. Lucaccioni, Ltd., we believe in helping those unfairly injured in a vehicle collision. We can help you maximize your potential compensation. Call us today at (312) 425-0401 to see how we can help.
