N Chicago, IL (July 2, 2020) – A three-old-boy and an adult suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash in North Chicago on Saturday, June 27. The collision occurred near the intersection of US-41 and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at around 3:15 a.m. According to initial reports, the driver of a 2003 GMC Yukon lost control of the vehicle, striking the center median then overturning.

Four people were reportedly inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. All four of the passengers in the SUV were injured, with the three-year-old and another adult sustaining life-threatening injuries. All four parties were hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is underway.
