Quincy, IL – Dustin DeJaynes Injured at IL-110 & Columbus Rd

Quincy, IL (June 9, 2020) – Two La Prarie residents were injured following a motorcycle collision in Quincy on Saturday, June 6th. The accident reportedly occurred at the intersection of IL-110 (I-172) and Columbus Road at around 10:15 p.m. According to local sources, Dustin DeJaynes, 35, was riding a 2015 Polaris motorcycle at the time of the accident.

DeJaynes struck a deer on the highway, causing both him and his passenger, Emily Trantham, 37, to be ejected. Neither party was wearing a helmet. Both injured victims were transpired by EMS to Blessing Hospital.

Local officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
