Morris, IL – Multiple Injuries in Accident on I-80

Morris, IL (June 17, 2020) – There were three people injured following a head-on collision in Morris on Sunday, June 14th. The accident occurred on I-80 EB at around 9:30 p.m. According to reports from the Illinois State Police, one driver lost control of their vehicle somewhere between Morris and Seneca, Illinois and veered into oncoming traffic.

A second vehicle was struck by the other vehicle, which then overturned and left the roadway. The driver of the first car was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were injured and transported to a nearby medical facility.

Local authorities are currently investigating the accident.
