Yorkville, IL (November 25, 2020) – Two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision in Yorkville on Saturday, November 21.
The accident reportedly occurred on US-34 at around 6:40 p.m. that evening. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to render aid to the crash victims. One of the drivers, 19-year-old Jose Campuzano, suffered injuries in the crash.
Both Campuzano and a passenger in his vehicle were transported to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. The other driver, 48-year-old Mark A. Sepplefrick, was charged with multiple citations, including driving while intoxicated. No further information on the accident is currently available.
Local law enforcement officials are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
