Winnebago Co, IL (November 16, 2020) – Two pedestrians were killed following a deadly collision on Friday evening, November 13, in Winnebago County.
The deadly pedestrian accident reportedly occurred at the 11600 block of IL-251. A pair of pedestrians were reportedly traveling on the roadway when they were struck by an oncoming motor vehicle. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the injured parties.
Both pedestrians, identified as a 53-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, were pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. The identities of the deceased parties have not been revealed at this time. No further information on the accident is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
