Warren Co, IL (November 1, 2020) – A woman suffered fatal injuries following a head-on crash with a semi-truck in Warren County on Saturday, October 31.
Initial reports revealed that the two-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection of IL-164 and 30th Street at around 8:30 p.m. Local reports revealed that a 2009 red Kia Rio driven by 35-year-old Amber Dean of Galesburg, Illinois was traveling east on IL-164 at the time of the deadly crash. At the same time, a 2015 red Peterbilt truck tractor-tanker-trailer combination driven by 38-year-old Bradley Bigger of Biggsville, Illinois was traveling west on the highway.
For unknown reasons, Dean’s vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the semi-truck. Dean sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
