Tuscola, IL (November 13, 2020) – A man in Tuscola was fatally struck by a moving train on Wednesday morning, November 11.
The accident reportedly occurred near the Cabot Corporation plant on US-36. Local authorities were called to the site of a pedestrian versus train collision at around 9:45 a.m. that morning. Emergency responders were present to render aid to those involved in the accident.
The body of the deceased party was found near the railway. At this time, the cause of the deadly accident has not been reported. The identity of the deceased victim has not been revealed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
