Riverdale, IL (November 29, 2020) – One person was killed and two others injured after a deadly car accident in the Riverdale area on Saturday, November 28.
The fatal collision reportedly occurred on Interstate 94 at around 1 a.m. that morning. Local reports revealed that a driver was traveling southbound on the roadway when their car rear-ended another vehicle near 130th Street. The crash caused the first car to leave the roadway and overturn.
The driver was ejected from the car and transported to a nearby medical facility along with two passengers in the vehicle. The driver was later pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
