Poplar Grove, IL (November 18, 2020) – A collision involving a passenger car and a semi-truck in Poplar Grove resulted in one death on Monday, November 16.
The site of the crash was reportedly located on IL-76 near Dawson Lake Road. Local reports revealed that the accident occurred at around 4 p.m. that afternoon. A passenger car collided with a commercial vehicle for unknown reasons at the scene.
The driver of the passenger car was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been revealed at this time. No further updates on the accident are currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
