Oswego, IL (November 17, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision in Oswego on Sunday, November 15, left one driver injured.
Local sources revealed that the crash occurred near the intersection of Douglass Road and Fernwood Road. Two vehicles reportedly collided at the intersection at around 5:51 a.m. that morning. Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid to the injured parties.
A 55-year-old driver of one of the vehicles suffered injuries and was taken to a nearby medical facility. The other driver, 21-year-old Lizbeth Moreno of Aurora, Illinois, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision. No further information on the accident is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
