Oak Lawn, IL (November 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a motor vehicle in the Oak Lawn area on Monday afternoon, November 9.
The site of the deadly pedestrian accident was reportedly located in the 9300 block of S. Kolmar Avenue, according to local sources. An adult was reportedly driving the vehicle when they hit a six-year-old boy. Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid to the injured parties.
When authorities arrived, the injured pedestrian was found lying unresponsive on the roadway. The severely injured child was transported to Advocate Christ Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. No further information is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is currently underway.
