Naperville, IL (November 15, 2020) – During rush hour on Friday, November 13, there were serious injuries reported after a vehicle collision in Naperville.
The accident reportedly occurred near the intersection of Diehl Road and Mill Street at around 3:11 p.m. Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene, a 2008 black Audi driven by a 29-year-old Chicago man and a 2008 silver Buick driven by an 18-year-old man from Naperville. The driver of the Audi was reportedly making a turn onto Mill Street but failed to yield to the driver of the Buick.
The driver of the Buick was ejected from his vehicle and transported to Edward Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The vehicle was reportedly split in half due to the collision. The driver of the Audi was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
