McClean Co, IL (November 8, 2020) – Local authorities have released the identity of the man killed in a deadly semi-truck accident in McClean County on Thursday night, November 5.
Local reports revealed that the crash occurred near Chenoa at the intersection of IL-24 and North 3050 East Road. A fatal collision involving a semi-truck and another vehicle was reported at around 5:06 p.m. that evening. According to local sources, Shawn M. Moore was driving a sport-utility vehicle on the highway at the time of the crash.
For unknown reasons, Moore collided with a commercial truck. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead. No further information on the deadly accident is available at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
