McClean Co, IL (November 7, 2020) – A man was killed after being involved in a collision with a semi-trailer in McClean County on Thursday night, November 5.
According to local sources, the crash occurred at the intersection of IL-24 and County Road 2950 East near the Chenoa Cemetary. The driver of a sport-utility vehicle reportedly collided with a semi-truck for unknown reasons. Emergency responders and law enforcement officials were called to the scene to render aid.
The driver of the passenger car sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at around 5:05 p.m. The identity of the deceased victim has not been revealed at this time. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by the Illinois State Police.
