Lake Forest, IL (November 14, 2020) – A man was killed after being fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident in the Lake Forest area on Thursday morning, November 12.
The deadly accident reportedly took place at the 500 block of Mayflower Road at around 10:45 a.m. The man was reportedly walking on the roadway when he was hit by a two-door Ford F-150 pickup truck. The driver of the truck reportedly continued traveling southbound on Mayflower Road following the accident.
The vehicle involved in the deadly accident is believed to be missing a passenger-side mirror. The identity of the deceased party has not been revealed at this time. No further information on the collision has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is currently in progress.
