Hoffman Estates, IL (November 23, 2020) – A Schaumburg man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle in Hoffman Estates on Saturday, November 21.
The site of the collision was located near the intersection of Barrington Road and Bode Road. Local authorities reported that the accident occurred late that night at around 6:27 p.m. The 49-year-old man was reportedly pushing a disabled vehicle on the roadway when he was struck.
The injured pedestrian was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash has not been reported. The identity of the injured party has not been revealed.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
