Clark Co, IL (November 4, 2020) – The identity of the man injured in a two-vehicle crash in Clark County on Friday, October 30, has been identified by local authorities.
The crash reportedly took place on Interstate 70 near mile marker 144.5 near Marshall, Illinois, at around 8:06 p.m. that evening. At the time of the crash, a 2011 Black Mercedes-Benz sedan driven by 43-year-old Levar Visor of St. Louis, Missouri was traveling westbound on the highway. Visor’s vehicle suffered a blowout, causing it to sideswipe a 2017 White Ford pickup truck driven by 39-year-old Armando Gonzalez of Weslaco, Texas.
Visor continued to leave the roadway and overturn multiple times. The other vehicle came to a rest in the westbound passing lane. Gonzalez suffered injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Visor was cited for multiple charges by local authorities, including possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
