Clark Co, IL (November 2, 2020) – One driver was injured and a man arrested following a collision in Clark County on Sunday, November 1.
The collision reportedly occurred on Interstate 70. According to reports from the Illinois State Police, 43-year-old Levar Visor of St. Louis, Missouri was traveling on the roadway when the tire on his vehicle blew. This caused him to sideswipe another vehicle nearby. That driver lost control of their vehicle and overturned due to the impact.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. Visor was uninjured in the crash. He was arrested for possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
