Chicago, IL (November 30, 2020) – Two people were injured after a high-speed crash in the Chicago area on Saturday morning, November 28.
Local sources revealed that the collision occurred on Lake Shore Drive near Oak Street. According to reports from local authorities, the accident took place at around 1 a.m. The vehicle, a rented Ferrari, reported collided with a guardrail on the roadway.
The vehicle overturned and caught on fire after the crash. Both the 22-year-old male driver and the 20-year-old male passenger were transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
