Chicago, IL (November 28, 2020) – Two officers with the Chicago Police Department were injured following a two-vehicle collision in the Gresham area on Friday, November 27.
The site of the crash was reportedly located at the 7900 block of Racine Avenue. According to local sources, the accident occurred at around 1:20 a.m. that morning. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the injured parties.
Two officers were hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries. The other driver involved in the crash was arrested following the collision. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
