Chicago, IL (November 19, 2020) – A crash on Wednesday, November 18, in the Chicago Loop left three people injured.
The accident reportedly occurred in the first block of W. Wacker Drive at around 11 p.m. According to initial reports, a 27-year-old man traveling westbound in a Nissan Altima attempted to make a left-turn without waiting for the signal. Local authorities reported that the man collided with an eastbound Hyundai Elantra.
Both the driver of the Nissan and the 28-year-old man driving the Hyundai, along with a 23-year-old female passenger of the Hyundai, were transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. The driver of the Nissan was cited for improper turning.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
