Chicago, IL – One Killed in Deadly Hit-&-Run on S Morgan St

Chicago, IL (November 6, 2020) – On Thursday morning, November 5, one person was killed and another injured in a hit-and-run accident in Chicago. 

The crash reportedly occurred at around 10:25 p.m. that evening at the 1100 block of S. Morgan Street. According to local sources, a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were hit by a vehicle that ran a stop sign. The vehicle reportedly kept traveling on Morgan Street until hitting a tree. 

The 32-year-old man driving the other vehicle then fled the scene on foot. He was arrested a short time later at a local transit station. Both injured parties were taken to Stroger Hospital for treatment, but the 26-year-old man was later pronounced dead. 

The other injured party is reportedly in stable condition. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
