Beach Park, IL (November 21, 2020) – A 76-year-old man was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Beach Park area on Wednesday night, November 18.
The site of the deadly pedestrian accident was reportedly located near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Waldo Avenue. According to local sources, a 23-year-old woman was driving a Cadillac Seville northbound on Green Bay Road at around 10 a.m. when she struck the victim. The man was reportedly crossing the street at the time of the accident.
The injured pedestrian was transported to Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan, Illinois in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead. No charges have been filed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the collision is currently underway.
