Aurora, IL (November 16, 2020) – A cyclist was killed following a hit-and-run collision in Aurora on Saturday, November 14.
The crash reportedly occurred near the intersection of Montgomery Road and White Eagle Drive. The man was riding a bicycle when he was struck at around 7:30 p.m. When emergency responders arrived, they found the victim lying on the roadway.
Despite life-saving measures at the scene, the man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead by responding paramedics. The driver involved in the deadly accident fled the scene. No further updates on the collision are currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
