Woodstock, IL (October 22, 2020) – An early morning accident in Woodstock on Wednesday, October 21, left one man dead and another woman seriously injured.

According to reports from local authorities, a 37-year-old man from Callao, Missouri was traveling south on Sugar Grove Road near IL-103 at the time of the crash. The man failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with another vehicle traveling west on IL-103 at around 6:50 a.m. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 31-year-old Brianna Arenz of Beardstown, Illinois.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
