Spring Bay, IL (October 31, 2020) – One person was killed following a collision involving a semi-truck and a go-cart near Spring Bay Township on Friday, October 30.
The crash reportedly occurred on the northbound lanes of IL-26 near the intersection with Eichhorn Road. The cause of the deadly truck accident has not been reported at this time. Emergency responders and local law enforcement officials were called to the scene to render aid to the involved parties.
One person reportedly sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased victim has been withheld at this time. No further information on the crash is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
