Peoria, IL (October 14, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries after being involved in a car accident in the Peoria area on Monday morning, October 12.
The accident reportedly took place near the intersection of McClure Avenue and Sheridan Road. According to reports from responding officials, a mid-size sedan struck a building before hitting a light pole. The sustained significant damage in the accident.
The passenger of the vehicle was ejected in the accident. The driver was extricated by responding firefighters at the scene. The driver was rendered medical aid by paramedics. Both occupants were taken to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of serious injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
