O’Fallon, IL – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Frank Scott Pkwy & Cromwell Ln

O’Fallon, IL (October 18, 2020) – A multi-vehicle accident in the O’Fallon area left one person dead on Thursday, October 15. 

The deadly collision reportedly occurred near the intersection of Frank Scott Parkway and Cromwell Lane. Local law enforcement officials were called to the scene of the crash at around 8:54 p.m. According to local sources, a Mustang traveling eastbound on the highway collided head-on with a Ford Transit for unknown reasons. 

A Nissan Murano then crashed into the rear of the Ford. The driver of the Mustang was transported to a nearby medical facility where they were later pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford was hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries. 

No other injuries were reported. An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
