Liberty, IL (October 6, 2020) – One person was killed and two others injured following a fatal all-terrain vehicle accident in Liberty Township on Sunday, October 4.
The collision reportedly occurred on County Road 2450 East early that afternoon. A single ATV was reportedly traveling south on the roadway at the time of the accident. For unknown reasons, the ATV overturned, ejecting three passengers.
One teenager involved in the accident sustained fatal injuries. Two other teenagers were transported to Blessing Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
