Clark Co, IL (October 28, 2020) – A woman was injured following a head-on collision in Clark County on Monday, October 26.
Local reports revealed that the crash occurred near the intersection of IL-1 and Grand Turn Road. Local sources confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the crash, a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck and a 2007 Dodge Caliber. According to initial reports, 55-year-old Mark Ramsey of Custer Park, Illinois was driving southbound on IL-1 at the time of the crash.
For unknown reasons, Ramsey’s pickup truck veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the northbound Dodge. The driver of the Dodge, identified as 18-year-old Ashley Lucus of Robinson, Illinois, suffered injuries in the crash and was hospitalized. No further information on the accident has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
