Christian Co, IL (October 5, 2020) – A head-on collision Saturday, October 3, in Christian County resulted in the death of two drivers.
Local sources revealed that the accident occurred on IL-104 WB west of Kincaid Lake. According to a report from the Illinois State Police, a blue 2018 Ford was traveling west on the highway when it crossed into the path of an eastbound white 2020 Chevrolet. Statements revealed that both drivers were killed in the collision.
The accident occurred that afternoon at around 2:02 p.m. The roadway was closed following the accident while emergency responders were present. At this time, the identities of the deceased parties have not been reported at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
