Chicago, IL – Two Officers Injured in Crash at LaSalle St & 35th St

Chicago, IL (October 26, 2020) – A collision in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago left two police officers injured on Sunday, October 25. 

Local sources revealed that the accident occurred near the intersection of S. LaSalle Street and 35th Street. At around 7:50 p.m. that evening, a Chicago Police Department patrol car was reportedly struck on the driver’s side by an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle reportedly ran a red light at the intersection. 

The two officers were taken to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash has not been reported. No further information on the accident is available at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
