Chicago, IL (October 10, 2020) – There were reported injuries following a car accident in the Chicago area on Thursday, October 8.
The site of the crash was reportedly located near the intersection of Interstate 55 and S. Pulaski Road. There were multiple vehicles involved in the collision. A statement from the Illinois State Police revealed that the crash occurred at around 8 p.m. that evening.
The inbound lanes of the highway were closed until around 9:40 p.m. At this time, the extent of the resulting injuries has not been reported. The cause of the accident was not disclosed by local authorities.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
