Chicago, IL (October 23, 2020) – A man was struck after being involved in another collision on the North Side of Chicago on Wednesday, October 21.
Local sources revealed that the crash occurred at around 11:20 p.m. that evening. According to local reports, a 19-year-old was driving a Hyundai sedan when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a concrete median at the 2400 block of N. Lake Shore Drive. The man and his passenger reportedly exited the vehicle following the incident.
The 19-year-old was struck by an oncoming Chevrolet sedan on the roadway. The injured victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further updates on the condition of the injured party have been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
