Chicago, IL (October 8, 2020) – A man suffered critical injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run accident in the Humboldt Park area of Chicago on Wednesday, October 7.
The crash reportedly occurred at the 3900 block of W. Chicago Avenue. At around 10:20 p.m., a gray or silver Infiniti struck the man while he was crossing the roadway. The driver involved in the accident fled the scene without rendering aid.
The injured party was hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, no updates on their condition have been provided. Officials are currently seeking information on the identity of the driver involved in the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
