Chicago, IL (October 29, 2020) – A 51-year-old man was injured on Tuesday, October 27, after falling from a set of elevated tracks in the West Garfield Park area of Chicago.
Local reports revealed that the incident occurred at around 11:20 p.m. that evening. The man was crossing the elevated tracks when he fell onto the roadway in the 4000 block of W. Lake Street. Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid to the injured party.
The man was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash has not been reported. The identity of the injured party has been withheld at this time.
No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the incident is underway.
