Chicago, IL (October 18, 2020) – Four people were injured in a hit-and-run collision in the Near West Side of Chicago on Friday night, October 17.
The crash reportedly occurred near the intersection of Lake Street and Ashland Avenue at around 10:39 p.m. that evening. According to local reports, a 22-year-old man was driving a white Audi when he was struck by a white Dodge Durango near the intersection. Four occupants inside the Audi were injured.
All four occupants were taken to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. According to local sources, the man driving the Audi knew the other driver and had argued with him earlier that evening. No further information on the crash is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is currently in progress.
