Chicago, IL (October 31, 2020) – Four people suffered injuries after being involved in a car accident in the Englewood area of Chicago on Friday, October 30.
Local reports revealed that the crash occurred at the 1800 block of W. 59th Street at around 8:10 p.m. that evening. Initial sources found that a 36-year-old woman was driving a red Chevrolet sedan on the road at the time of the accident. The driver reportedly swerved to avoid a vehicle and collided with a tree.
The driver and a 31-year-old female passenger were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. Two other occupants were transported to Comer Children’s Hospital. No further information on the accident is currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
