Oswego, IL (September 26, 2020) – On Thursday, September 24, a young child was injured after being involved in an accident in the Oswego area.
The accident occurred on US-30 near Kendall Point Drive according to local reports. At around 12:21 p.m., some wooden boards fell off a pickup truck and struck a sport-utility vehicle traveling behind it. A baby that was traveling inside the SUV was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois for the treatment of sustained injuries.
The driver of the pickup, 45-year-old Miguel Gurrola Murga of Aurora, was charged with driving without a valid license and spilling load on the highway. No further updates on the condition of the injured party have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local authorities, and more information will be released as it continues.
