Dry Grove, IL – Kyle Casey Killed in Motorcycle Crash at US-150 & College Ave

Dry Grove, IL (September 10, 2020) – A 23-year-old man was killed following a motorcycle accident in McLean County on Tuesday, September 8, near the intersection of US-150 and W. College Avenue. 

Illinois State Police officials at the site of the crash pronounced Kyle Casey of Normal, Illinois dead at the scene at around 11:46 p.m. Initial reports revealed that Casey was traveling southbound on US-150 on a 2006 Honda motorcycle at the time of the crash. At the same time, 52-year-old Scott Pulliam of Collinsville, Illinois was driving a 2017 Chevrolet van south on the highway. 

For unknown reasons, Casey struck the rear of Pulliam’s vehicle. The autopsy revealed that the motorcyclist was killed due to blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. Routine toxicology tests are currently pending. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
