Chicago, IL – Three Injured in House Fire at 22700 Ridgeway Ave

Chicago, IL (September 15, 2020) – Three people were injured in a residential fire in the Richton Park area of Chicago on Saturday, September 12. 

The site of the incident was reportedly located at the 22700 block of Ridgeway Avenue. The fire was spotted at around 8:30 p.m. that evening. The people inside the building at the time were able to escape the building before firefighters arrived. 

The responding emergency units rescued two cats and a dog from the residence. Responding fire crews from the nearby area responded to help extinguish the fire. Three people were transported to a medical facility for sustained injuries. 

No further updates on the accident have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the incident is underway.
