Chicago, IL (September 24, 2020) – A teenage girl was injured after a man crashed his vehicle into a residence in Chicago neighborhood on Thursday, September 24.
The accident occurred in the Parkview area on the Southwest Side at the 8400 block of S. Lawndale Avenue. At around 12:30 a.m., the 24-year-old man driving the car reportedly lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. He consequently collided with a utility pole and fence before crashing into a nearby home.
The driver did not sustain injuries in the accident. A 16-year-old girl was transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois for treatment. The driver is currently facing pending traffic citations.
